Rangers from Cumberland Island National Seashore will present a talk on the early history of Cumberland Island. Many people know about the Carnegie era, but do you know about the first inhabitants who made their homes there?
Learn about the Timucuan Native Americans and how they lived. There will be demonstrations on tool making, hunting practices, diet, cooking, etc. Who came after the Timucuans? Do you know their history?
This program is in conjunction with the hands-on exhibit from Cumberland Island at the library through August.
