The Writ is a lawsuit in our Superior Court to force Camden County to enter into the enforceable contract required by their Agreement to fund the Public Service Authority. When investigating why the PSA fails so frequently to maintain our public parks, and why facilities are frequently decrepit, we discovered that for the past 33 years, neither the County nor the cities have signed the required contract listing the properties that are the responsibility of the PSA. Nor do they have a contract defining the services that we’re paying for. Nor are there any contractual standards of performance so that the PSA is accountable to our County Commission and thus to taxpayers.
